Dear Caelan and Vincent:
You two are my only grandchildren and we have been estranged since you were 18 mos old. I will not go into what caused the estrangement, that is for you and your dad to discuss. I am writing this for you. For you to get to know who your Grandma is or was. I have led a wonderful full life and done lots of crazy, wonderful, wild, adventurous things. I want you to get to know me "though me and my words" and not someone elses.
This is the first day of this blog so I won't be writing much today but the stories will be coming. I will eventually turn this into a book, just for you to read and keep to share with your children and grandchildren, if you choose.
